MAO Unveils BAT Campaign Centre, Extends Relief to Residents

There was a palpable sense of excitement and political energy in Agege as a large crowd of residents, party loyalists, and community stakeholders converged to witness the unveiling of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT) campaign centre by Moshood Alabede Olawale.

The event, which doubled as a palliative distribution exercise, transformed No. 24 Sarumi Alawo Street into a hub of activity, drawing market leaders, youth groups, women’s associations, and grassroots mobilisers from across Agege Federal Constituency I.

For many in attendance, it was more than just a political gathering—it was a statement of loyalty and a show of growing grassroots momentum behind Olawale’s ambition to represent the constituency in the Lagos State House of Assembly under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The atmosphere was lively, marked by cheers, music, and visible enthusiasm, as supporters thronged the venue in solidarity. Observers described the turnout as a reflection of an increasingly organised and formidable political base.

Addressing journalists at the event, Olawale did not hold back in describing the significance of the moment. He characterised the commissioning of the campaign centre as a historic milestone for Agege.

“This is history in the making. It is unprecedented for an individual to personally establish and commission a campaign office for the President here in Agege. It speaks to the depth of our belief in Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he said.

He reaffirmed his unwavering support for the President, stressing that backing his re-election in 2027 remains critical to sustaining national development.

Beyond the symbolism of the campaign centre, the distribution of palliatives added a humanitarian dimension to the event, offering immediate relief to residents and reinforcing Olawale’s connection with the grassroots.

Olawale also used the occasion to commend the Executive Chairman of Agege Local Government, AbdulGaniu Vinod Obasa, whom he described as a vibrant and forward-thinking youth leader. While acknowledging ongoing development efforts, he noted that there remains room for further progress.

In a forward-looking tone, Olawale emphasised the urgency of youth inclusion in governance, advocating for greater representation of young people in leadership positions, particularly in the Lagos State House of Assembly.

On his manifesto, he struck an ambitious note, promising a vision he described as “limitless,” with initiatives he believes will redefine governance and development in Agege.
