APC Declares Fuad Kayode Laguda Winner of Surulere Constituency I Reps Primary

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has declared Hon. Fuad Kayode Laguda (FKL) as the party’s candidate for the House of Representatives, Surulere Constituency I, following the successful conduct of the party’s primary election across the constituency.

According to a statement issued on Friday by the Surulere Media Team, the primary election was conducted across all wards in Surulere Local Government Area, including Ward E/E1, F1, F2/F3, G/G1, G2 and G3.

Laguda emerged victorious after polling a total of 8,432 votes to secure the APC ticket for the forthcoming general election.

The statement described the victory as a reflection of the trust, confidence and overwhelming support the lawmaker enjoys among party members and stakeholders across the constituency.

It further congratulated Laguda on what it termed a well-deserved victory and expressed optimism that the APC candidate would record success at the general election.

“Congratulations to Hon. Fuad Kayode Laguda on this well-deserved victory. We pray for greater success and a victorious outing in the forthcoming general election,” the statement read.

The party’s supporters also expressed confidence that Surulere Constituency I would witness greater development under Laguda’s representation.
