TOS Educational Initiatives Congratulates Damilola Sonayon-James on APC Deputy Governorship Nomination
The Founder of TOS Educational Initiatives, Mr. Taiwo Ololade Salvador, has congratulated Princess Damilola Sonayon-James on her emergence as the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State.
In a congratulatory letter titled “Letter of Congratulations,” Salvador, speaking on behalf of the board, staff, and pupils of TOS Educational Initiatives, described Sonayon-James’ nomination as a recognition of her years of dedicated service, leadership, and commitment to community development.
He noted that her journey from the royal courts of Kweme to educational institutions in Hull, and from public service in Badagry West to policy-making roles in Lagos State, reflects the values of service, integrity, and purposeful leadership.
According to him, Sonayon-James has distinguished herself through initiatives such as the Light Up Project and her contributions to the review of the Lagos Youth Policy, efforts he said have positively impacted thousands of young people across the state.
Salvador expressed confidence in her ability to contribute meaningfully to governance in Lagos, citing her commitment to sustainability, education, and community development as qualities that would benefit the state.
He also pledged the readiness of TOS Educational Initiatives to collaborate with her office in promoting reading, writing, and heritage preservation in public schools across Lagos.
“Our children need leaders who see them, and you have always done so,” he stated.
The education advocate further wished the APC deputy governorship candidate wisdom, strength, and grace as she prepares for the task ahead.
He added that her nomination has brought pride not only to Lagos State but also to Badagry and all those who have followed her public service journey.
“Lagos is proud of you. Badagry is proud of you. We are proud of you,” Salvador stated while congratulating Sonayon-James on her nomination.
