First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, Mourns Victims of Niger State Fuel Tanker Explosion

The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic fuel tanker explosion that occurred on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Dikko Junction in Niger State.

The unfortunate incident claimed several lives and left many others injured.

In a heartfelt message, the First Lady conveyed her condolences to the Governor of Niger State, His Excellency Mohammed Umar Bago, the families of the victims, and the people of Niger State.

She urged caution around accident scenes, particularly those involving vehicles transporting flammable materials, to mitigate further risks.

“I condole with the Governor, His Excellency Mohammed Umar Bago, the families and loved ones of the departed souls, the injured, and the entire people of Niger State,” Senator Tinubu stated.

She prayed for Almighty God to grant comfort to the bereaved and quick recovery to the injured.

“God bless Niger State. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” the First Lady prayed in her message.
