Family, Friends Pay Last Respect to Late Mrs Grace Lasisi at 83

Family members, friends and well-wishers on Thursday paid their final respects to the late Mrs Grace Lasisi, who died at the age of 83.

The funeral ceremonies, held in Ibadan, Oyo State, began with a wake-keep on Wednesday, September 24, followed by her lying-in-state on Thursday, September 25.

The occasion attracted a large gathering of family members, friends, associates and well-wishers, with the hall filled to capacity as mourners came to celebrate the life and legacy of the deceased.

The ceremony was marked by colourful traditional and formal attires, creating a lively and dignified atmosphere in honour of the octogenarian.

Guests were also treated to a variety of meals and drinks, while a live band entertained the gathering with performances throughout the ceremony.

Despite the grief surrounding the occasion, the event provided an opportunity for loved ones to celebrate the life of Mrs Lasisi and bid her a final farewell.
