Former Lagos Commissioner, Danmole commends President Tinubu over the appointment of Lagos Head of Service and former Deputy Governor
Former Lagos state Commissioner for Home Affairs & Culture, Hon Oyinlomo Danmole has described the appointment of the Lagos Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola and former Lagos Deupty Governor, Mrs Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire by President Bola Tinubu as a welcome development.
Hakeem Muri-Okunola was appointed as the Principal Secretary to the President while Mrs Adejoke Orelope- Adefulire was reappointed as SSA on Sustainable Development Goals.
They were among the new set of appointments made yesterday by the President.
In a statement released in Lagos, Oyinlomo Danmole expressed optimism that the appointees will contribute immensely to the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr. President.
He noted that since the Head of Service and former Deputy Governor have excelled in their previous positions, there was no doubt in given their best to the service of the nation.
According to him and I quote”” The entire people of Lagos are happy and rejoicing over the well deserved appointments assuring that they will not disappoint the President and the country in their line of duty”. End of quote.
Muri-Okunola is a 51 year-old lawyer, who joined the Lagos Civil service in 2001 as Personal Assistant to then Governor Bola Tinubu.
Mrs Adejoke Orelope Adefulire who had served as a lawmaker and former Lagos Deputy Governor was later appointed by former President Muhammadu Buhari as SSA on Sustainable Development Goals.
