Imam Tajudeen Owode warns elected politicians to fulfil campaign promises to avoid incurring the wrath of Allah
A clarion call has gone to all the newly elected politicians in the country to fulfil their electoral promises to the electorates.
They may however incur the wrath of God if they fail to deliver on their electoral promises to the people.
Imam Tajudeen Owode gave this charge at the maiden Ramadan Lecture by Al Ulamau Support Group for Tinubu held at Temitope Mosque in Coker-Aguda area of Surulere.
He said Allah frowns at those who failed to honour their agreements with Him and humanity saying heavy sanctions awaits them in this world and the hereafter.
On her part the APC Women Leader in the area, Alhaja Khadijat Adekola who spoke on the challenges faced by the widows charged those in government to put in place politicies that will address their needs.
She however urged them to accord priority to self employment in order to care for the children and other needs.
Also speaking, the National Coordinator of ASGAT, Lateef Agboola said he was impressed with the turn out at the Ramadan Lecture.
Speaking on behalf of the House of Reps elect in Surulere Federal Constituency two, Hon Bello Taiwo assured that Lanre Okunola will enact laws that will address the needs of the people.
