First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Mourns Late Hon. Adewunmi Onanuga

The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, has expressed profound grief over the sudden demise of Hon. Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga, describing her passing as a great loss to the nation and women in leadership.

In a condolence message, Senator Tinubu extended her heartfelt sympathies to the family of the late lawmaker, the leadership and members of the House of Representatives, the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun, and the people of Ogun State, particularly her constituents in Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Constituency.

“The demise of Hon. Adewunmi Onanuga is a great loss to her family, the Legislature, Ogun State, Nigeria, and the womenfolk in general,” the First Lady noted.

Hon. Onanuga, who served as the Deputy Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, was described as an astute politician with remarkable leadership qualities.

Senator Tinubu prayed for Almighty God to grant the family, friends, and associates of the deceased the strength to bear the irreplaceable loss, adding, “May her soul rest in eternal peace.”
