Odunayo Appreciates Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu, Party Leaders on First Year in Office

The Executive Chairman of Itire–Ikate Local Council Development Area, Hon. Oluwafemi Daniel Odunayo, has expressed his profound appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency, Mr. Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu, as he marks his first anniversary in office.

Hon. Odunayo also acknowledges, with deep gratitude, the invaluable support, encouragement, guidance, and goodwill extended to his administration by distinguished leaders and stakeholders across Lagos State and beyond.

In particular, the Executive Chairman appreciates the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu; the First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu; and the First Lady of Itire–Ikate LCDA, Mrs. Vivian Odunayo, for their support, encouragement, and contributions to the progress and development of the people.

He equally extends his sincere appreciation to the revered Lagos Governance Advisory Council (GAC) Leaders; the Chief of Staff to the President, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila; the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos State, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi; Senator Wasiu Sanni-Eshilokun; Hon. Lanre Okunlola, Member, Lagos State House of Assembly, Constituency 2; Hon. Mosunmola Sangodara; the Itire–Ikate APC Apex Leadership Forum; LGA and Ward Chairmen and Executives; as well as all party leaders, stakeholders, and faithfuls.

The Executive Chairman recognises that the progress recorded by his administration over the past year has been strengthened by the collective support, cooperation, and goodwill of these distinguished leaders, party stakeholders, community leaders, and residents.

He remains deeply grateful for the confidence reposed in his administration and considers the first year in office not only an opportunity to reflect on the journey so far, but also a renewed call to greater service, accountability, and responsibility.

Hon. Odunayo therefore reaffirms his administration’s unwavering commitment to delivering purposeful governance, sustainable grassroots development, improved social wellbeing, and meaningful opportunities for the people of Itire–Ikate LCDA.

He further assures residents and stakeholders that his administration will continue to operate with transparency, accountability, inclusiveness, and an unwavering commitment to service, while deepening its collaboration with the Federal and Lagos State Governments, the leadership of the All Progressives Congress, and all relevant stakeholders.

The Executive Chairman also appreciates the people of Itire–Ikate LCDA for their unwavering support, constructive engagement, patience, and partnership throughout the first year of his administration.

He recognises and celebrates the contributions of community leaders, traditional institutions, religious leaders, youth and women groups, market associations, professional bodies, civil society organisations, artisans, business owners, and other stakeholders whose collective efforts continue to contribute significantly to the growth, peace, and stability of the LCDA.

As he marks this important milestone, Hon. Oluwafemi Daniel Odunayo expresses his determination to build on the foundation already laid, consolidate the gains recorded, and do even more in the service of the people.

He therefore solicits the continued support, prayers, cooperation, and partnership of all residents and stakeholders as his administration enters another phase of purposeful, inclusive, and people-oriented governance.
