Hon. Ramotalai Akinlola-Hassan Meets Amuwo-Odofin APC Apex Leaders, Declares House of Representatives Ambition

Hon. Ramotalai Olanrewaju Akinlola-Hassan met with apex leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Amuwo-Odofin Local Government at a stakeholders’ meeting, where she formally declared her intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Amuwo-Odofin Federal Constituency.

The meeting, which took place at the APC Secretariat, 3rd Avenue, B Close, Festac Town, Lagos State, brought together apex leaders and key party stakeholders. It served as an avenue for consultation, alignment, and the strengthening of party unity ahead of the forthcoming electoral process.

Addressing the gathering, Hon. Akinlola-Hassan expressed her commitment to effective representation, inclusive governance, and the advancement of the constituency.

She emphasised that her decision to contest is driven by her passion for service and her desire to deliver tangible dividends of democracy to the people of Amuwo-Odofin.
She also acknowledged the critical role of party leaders and stakeholders in shaping the success of the APC within the constituency, calling for their continued support, collaboration, and guidance as she embarks on this journey.

In attendance were prominent members of the apex leadership, including Prince Otolorin; Alhaja Memunat Ajao; Chief Dotun Adegbola; Chief Mrs. Omotanwa Olusi; Engr. Taiwo Shajobi; Otunba Banjo Ayeni; Alhaji Libari Oseni; Chief Dayo Ariyo; Mrs. Lyndia Otejeh; Chief Aberuagba; Alhaji Okeshina; Alhaji Shanu; Alhaja Ariyoh; Mrs. Francis; Mr. Tunde Ajayi; Alhaji Lawal; Engr. Valentine Buraimoh, former Chairman of Amuwo-Odofin Local Government; Mr. Elebute Abiodun, APC Chairman, Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area; Mr. Ayo Ogungbiye, former APC Chairman; Alhaji Tijani; and Hon. Sunday Adedeji.

Speaking at the meeting, Otunba Banjo Ayeni described Hon. Akinlola-Hassan as a unifying and widely accepted leader across the constituency.

“Hon. Ramotalai is well known and respected. She has the capacity not only to win but to deliver meaningful representation to our people,” he said.

Also speaking, Alhaja Thomas commended her consistency, accessibility, and dedication to grassroots development.

“Hon. Ramotalai has always stood with the people. She understands our needs and has demonstrated her commitment through impactful service. I am confident she will represent Amuwo-Odofin effectively at the federal level,” she stated.

Party leaders present at the meeting commended her leadership capacity, experience, and strong grassroots connection, describing her as a credible and formidable aspirant capable of effectively representing Amuwo-Odofin at the federal level.
The meeting concluded with a renewed sense of unity and a shared commitment to the progress of the party and the development of the constituency.
