PLANNED AUGUST 1 PROTEST: HON. KEHINDE BAMIGBETAN(KOK) URGES NIGERIA YOUTHS TO EMBRACE PEACE AND DIALOGUE
Hon.Kehinde Bamigbetan,Special adviser to the Honourable Minister of Solid Minerals and Mining, has urged Nigeria youths to embrace peace and dialogue as a weapon to express their grievances to the government of the day.
Hon.Bamigbetan said;the planned protest being organized through the social media, should be viewed beyond the surface. He quite agreed that the Nigeria economy is going through many challenges and that more time should be given to the government of President(Asíwájú )Bola Ahmed Tinubu(GCFR) to fix back the economy and NOT to protest.
Hon.Bamigbetan said, “If the upcoming protest in August 2024 is allowed to take place, and going by what I have seen so far on the internet,It could be hijacked by some unscrupulous elements claiming to be part of the protest to perpetrate their evil doings.
Therefore,Hon.Bamigbetan is calling on ALL Nigerians that are preparing for the August protest, especially youths from the South-West,Ejigbo LCDA in Lagos,NOT to fall so cheaply to the Agenda of the organizers of the protest that they have covered up under the banner of general protest.
Finally,Hon.Bamigbetan shared the view of ‘Winston Churchill’ quotes that says;It is better to Jaw-jaw than to War-war.
Happy Weekend
