Two siblings of Orishadaran Suenu of Lagos and Fayemi Magbamiloruko in Baalo Ruling House of Oloto Royal family reunited after over hundred years of being apart
It was an exciting moment when the two siblings of the Royal families of Orishadaran Suenu of Lagos and Fayemi Magbamiloruko in Baalo Ruling House of Oloto Royal family (Omotorisha and Fasinro) were reunited after over hundred years of being apart.
The separation of the lineage of the Royal families for one hundred and thirty five years eventually ended when they came together at Omotorisa House in Otto area of Lagos Mainland.
It took the intervention of Onisabe of Igbobi Sabe, HRM Oba Owolabi Adeyemi Adeniyi and some elders from both sides to end the agelong rift between them.
While speaking at the event, HRM Oba Owolabi Adeyemi Adeniyi said that his joy knows no bound that both siblings came together as one in his life time.
He stressed the need for families in dispute to resolve such amicably in good time and never allow it linger for long.
On his part, the administrative head of Baalo Ruling House, Chief Mohammed Bashir Akinola, Odofin Oloto of Otto and Lagos Mainland commended the high level of maturity demonstrated by both sides in putting the past behind them.
The Secretary of Magbamiloruko Oloto Descendant, Dr Akinlade Babafemi noted that the long awaited reunion will fast track development among the ruling houses.
Describing it as a dream come true, Dr Babafemi made it clear that they have both buried their differences while asking the young generations to learn from it.
Also speaking, Mustapha Disu who hailed from Odubi Baalo ruling house, Otto said losing family lineage was a sad experience.
He noted that their Ancestors were also very helpful in resolving the crisis.
