LEADERS COMMEND OKEOWO, TOLD HIM TO SUSTAIN THE PEACE AND RELIGIOUS HARMONY AT THE 3RD EDITION OF IFELODUN LCDA INTER-DENOMINATIONAL CAROL CONCERT
The executive Chairman of Ifelodun LCDA Mayor Olufemi Akanbi Okeowo has been changed to sustain the peaceful co- existence that’s permeate the area since he assumed office.
The APC West Senatorial leader and the Baba Oba of Iwa and Apapa Kingdom, Prince Rabiu Adio Oluwa has advised the Executive Chairman of Ifelodun Local Council Development area Mayor Olufemi Akanbi Okeowo to continue to initiate policies and programs that will unite the people of Ajeromi Ifelodun LG and Ifelodun LCDA.
He made this call during the Ifelodun LCDA 3rd edition of the Christian Carol Concert held at St. Matheuw Catholic church, Amukoko,Lagos, under the Chairmanship of Mayor Olufemi Akanbi Okeowo .
The Asiwaju of Ijora kingdom, who is also member of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC ) Prince Oluwa who was accompanied to the event by his adorable wife Yeye Iretioluwa said,” No effort is too much to ensure peace, unity and progress in our society, Ajeromi Ifelodun LG and Ifelodun LCDA remain one, look at the number of dignities that came from Ajeromi Ifelodun to grace this occasion it is a clear indication that we are one indivisible entity”
The Executive Chairman of Ifelodun LCDA Mayor Olufemi Akanbi Okeowo said the main purpose of organizing the Carol Concert is to give glory and honor God for His manifold blessings upon the Local Government..We have touched almost all the segments of the Society such as Education, Health care delivery system, Road, Security, Empowerment, Palliatives and others, this is the right time to provide spiritual needs of the people.
This is an Inter- denominational service, Christians are here, Muslims are here, Traditionalists are also here to be a part of the songs, praises, Dance, drumming unto God almighty.
The Chairman of G10 in Ifelodun LCDA, a Former member of the House of Represeñtative,the pioneer Chairman of Ifelodun LCDA Hon Taiwo Oyewole Adenekan commended the Chairman for the initiative, advised the residents to live in harmony and cheerfully to the needy
