UNILAG Muslim Alumni holds 37th AGM tomorrow at UNILAG Mosque

The UNILAG Muslim Alumni (UMA) will hold its 37th Annual General Meeting (AGM) tomorrow, Sunday, October 18, 2026, at the Islamic Center Hall, UNILAG Mosque, Akoka, Lagos.

The meeting, scheduled for 10:00 a.m., will bring together members of the alumni association to review its activities and achievements, deliberate on its future direction and strengthen the leadership of the Executive Council.

The AGM, described as the highest decision-making platform of UMA, is expected to provide members with an opportunity to contribute to important decisions affecting the association and reaffirm its commitment to serving Allah through programmes that benefit the University of Lagos, the Muslim community and society.

The association also said the gathering would provide an avenue for members to reconnect with colleagues across various professions, share opportunities and strengthen professional and social bonds.

UMA urged members to prioritise attendance, noting that their participation would provide encouragement to the Executive Council and ensure that decisions shaping the future of the association reflect the collective voice of its members.

The association appealed to members to make use of the work-free Sunday to attend the AGM and demonstrate their continued commitment to the growth and development of UMA.
