Post-Primaries: Adunni Seeks Reconciliation, Rallies APC Members in Mosan Okunola

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship candidate for Mosan Okunola Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Akindele Adunni Opeyemi, has extended a hand of fellowship to fellow aspirants who contested alongside her in the party’s just-concluded primaries, urging them to unite for the greater good of the community.

Adunni made the conciliatory appeal following her official emergence as the APC flagbearer for the forthcoming local government elections in Lagos State.

Speaking in a tone of gratitude and reconciliation, the former Vice Chairman and Executive Secretary of the LCDA attributed her victory to divine grace and expressed heartfelt appreciation to her family, party leadership, and dedicated supporters across the council area.

“The primaries are behind us, and now it’s time to face the future with renewed hope and unity,” she said. “This victory is not just mine—it is a triumph for tested experience, proven leadership, and a shared vision for a better Mosan Okunola.”

With her campaign slogan, “Adunni in the Neighborhood… My Community, My Focus! Olorun ni, Eniyan ko,” resonating across the LCDA, Hon. Adunni is positioning herself as the candidate of continuity, competence, and community-focused leadership.

Her message of reconciliation, shared purpose, and forward-looking leadership sets the tone for what promises to be an issue-driven and people-centered campaign season in Mosan Okunola.

Reinforcing her image as a bridge-builder and team player, Adunni appealed to her fellow contenders to set aside personal differences and work together in the party’s collective interest.

“In the spirit of unity, I extend a hand of fellowship to all my fellow aspirants who contested alongside me. There is no loser in a family. We are one—and together, we must work hand-in-hand to build the Mosan Okunola of our dreams,” she said.

Renowned for her strong record in grassroots development and effective service delivery, Adunni emphasized her readiness to serve once again with renewed vigor.

“I am not new to service. I am tested, trusted, and tenacious. I have walked this path before. I have delivered. And now, I am ready to do even more,” she declared.
