FIRST LADY OLUREMI TINUBU FETES CHRISTIAN YOUTH

…Calls for love and unity as panacea for national development

Christians have been admonished to always show love to their neighbors and avoid judging others based on religion or region.

The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, gave this charge while hosting the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN) to an Easter Brunch at the Presidential Villa.

Senator Tinubu expressed her appreciation for the visit and show of love, stating that she is encouraged by the youth’s presence. She emphasized that it takes sacrificial love and compassion to bring about meaningful change in the world.

The First Lady further called on Nigerian youth to lead efforts in promoting gender equity, noting that there is space for determined and visionary women to thrive in the country.

Expressing appreciation on behalf of the association, the National Chairman of YOWICAN, Belusochukwu Enwerem, said the group is ready to align with the visions of both the First Lady and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in promoting peace and national development. He added that YOWICAN will continue to sustain engagement with their Muslim counterparts to foster religious harmony across Nigeria.

In support of the First Lady’s Renewed Hope Initiative, YOWICAN announced the launch of the Renewed Hope Neighbor2Neighbor Movement and conferred the title of Grand Patron on Senator Oluremi Tinubu.

This marks the second Easter homage paid by YOWICAN to the First Lady. As with the first visit, the occasion allowed members to celebrate Easter, share goodwill, and enjoy a meal with their Grand Patron.

In a notable gesture, the First Lady announced the donation of seven 14-seater CNG-powered buses to support the evangelical mission of YOWICAN nationwide.
