ODUNJO FAMILY DEMANDS ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND GRATITUDE FROM PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU
Members of the Odunjo Family, Kudeti, Ibadan say President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is owing them a debt of gratitude and acknowledgement as he is in the habit of denying ever knowing them.
A member of the Family, Taiwo Odunjo in a statement from Canada said the demand for appreciation and acknowledgement from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu stems from age-long relationship with the family
He said President Tinubu stayed with the Odunjo Family, Kudeti, Ibadan for several years and that the President was introduced to the Family by his uncle, Late Mr Lekan Odunjo, who died some years ago
Taiwo said for the fact that President Tinubu stayed with Odunjo Family for several years during which he was treated as a member of the family before rising to prominence, the Family deserved to be acknowledged and appreciated
Taiwo said the Odunjo Family does not need anything from him other than to acknowledge and appreciate their contributions to his life
He said the last time he met him was in 2011 at the inauguration of late governor Biola Ajimobi where they exchanged pleasantries
