Alawaye Hails Adunni’s Impactful Leadership, Achievements as She Marks Her First Year in Office
The Secretary to the Local Government (SLG) of Mosan Okunola Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Abdulhameed Alawaye (Triple A), has congratulated the Executive Chairman, Hon. Akindele Adunni Opeyemi, on the successful completion of her first 365 days in office, describing her administration as one defined by purposeful leadership and fulfilled promises.
In a congratulatory message marking the milestone, Alawaye praised the chairman’s visionary leadership and significant achievements across key sectors, saying her performance had justified the confidence reposed in her by supporters during the electioneering campaign.
He recalled his role as the Director General of the Adunni Campaign Team (ACT) and his current position as Secretary to the Local Government, noting that he has never regretted supporting her aspiration to lead the council.
According to him, the administration has, within one year, recorded remarkable milestones in grassroots development through initiatives such as the Mosan Okunola Renewed Hope Relief Cash Transfer Programme, educational interventions including the distribution of free GCE forms and learning materials, rehabilitation of public infrastructure, environmental sanitation programmes, improved healthcare services, youth empowerment initiatives, support for vulnerable residents, and strengthened community security.
Alawaye stated that the administration’s achievements have silenced critics and earned widespread commendation from residents, adding that the visible transformation across communities reflects the chairman’s commitment to service, accountability, and effective governance.
He also referenced the commendation received from the Lagos State House of Assembly during its oversight visits, describing it as an endorsement of the administration’s prudent management of resources, transparency, and dedication to delivering campaign promises.
The SLG prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the chairman greater wisdom, good health, divine protection, and renewed strength to accomplish even greater achievements in the years ahead.
He reiterated his commitment to supporting the administration’s vision and congratulated Hon. Akindele Adunni Opeyemi on what he described as an outstanding first year in office, expressing optimism that even greater progress lies ahead for Mosan Okunola LCDA under her leadership.
