Breaking News: Sanwo-Olu, Cabinet Back Hamzat as APC’s Preferred Candidate for 2027 Lagos Governorship Race

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, alongside his cabinet, has endorsed his deputy, Kadri Hamzat, as the preferred candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress for the 2027 gubernatorial election in the state.

The endorsement was announced by the governor at the State House in Marina when Dr. Hamzat led a delegation of party members, including the Governance Advisory Council, former ministers, and lawmakers, to inform him of his intention to succeed him in office.
