Photo News: Stakeholders Call for Stronger Collaboration at Foodclique World Food Day Symposium

Faces at the symposium organized by the Foodclique Support Initiative as part of activities marking this year’s World Food Day, held at NECA House, CBD, Alausa.

During the panel session titled “Youth-Led Initiative for Food Security” moderated by Seun Ajidagba, stakeholders in the food and agriculture value chain, including Segun Anifowose Johnson of King Glad Cuisine; Funmi Williams, Admin Manager at Eric Kayseri; Tracy Dabul, Head of Marketing & Partnerships at Leky Mills Limited; and Chef Samson Balogun, Executive Sous Chef at the Marriott Hotel, Ikeja, participated in the discussion.

Panelists and other stakeholders called for improved collaboration among industry players and urged the government to provide consistent support to ensure food sufficiency and affordability in Nigeria.

Ibrahim Onilegbale, Team Lead of the Foodclique Support Initiative, welcomed participants and reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to reducing hunger across the country.

This year’s World Food Day, celebrated globally on October 16, has the theme “Hand in Hand for Better Foods and a Better Future.”
