DSVA’S KINGS’ CLUB BOYS INSPIRED BY MR. KAZEEM OLANIPEKUN, FOUNDER OF FOCUS TEENS FOUNDATION

As part of its ongoing efforts to empower and inspire young minds, the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) organized an interactive session for members of its Kings’ Club Initiative on 21st March, 2025.

The session featured a meet-and-greet moment with Mr. Kazeem Olanipekun, Managing Director and CEO of Zovaya Limited, a King’s Club Mentor and Principal, Focus Teens Foundation. Ten boys from Eko Boys High School, Mushin, accompanied by their teacher, participated in the engaging discussion.

Mr. Kazeem Olanipekun engaged the boys in a reflective discussion, asking them to share what they had learned from the Kings’ Club initiative and how they had exhibited positive masculinity. He then posed thought-provoking questions, encouraging the boys to think about the type of men they wanted to become, the kind of brothers and fathers they aspired to be, and how they wanted to be perceived by others.

Drawing from his personal experiences, Mr. Kazeem Olanipekun shared his journey from childhood to adulthood, highlighting his successes and challenges. He inspired the boys to strive for excellence, emphasizing that they could attain great heights despite the obstacles they might face.

Mr. Kazeem Olanipekun urged the boys to pursue excellence unwaveringly, even in the face of challenges. The boys actively participated in the session, asking questions about overcoming obstacles and achieving academic and professional excellence. Mr. Kazeem Olanipekun provided guidance and encouragement, empowering the boys to become confident and successful individuals.

This initiative is a testament to DSVA’s commitment to nurturing young minds and promoting positive masculinity.
