Muslims charged to drive the Political and economic revival of the Nation
Muslims in southwest Nigeria have been charged to take advantage of their rich economic advancement background in their approach towards the uplift of the economy of the country and that of the Ummah.
This came to the fore at a roundtable conversation on “The political economy of the South west” an activity at the ongoing MICA Katiba at the NYSC camp in Lagos.
The roundtable which had selected captains of industries and analysts from several related industries in attendance x-rayed the emergence and contributions of Islam in the southwest and sought a new pathway for development in Nigeria.
The session was coordinated by the Executive Secretary of MICA, Abdulhameed Ademola Danmole and a Senior strategy analyst from Havard, Dr Faisal Hamid.
The session concluded that the Muslims need to live up to expectations and help establish a just and balanced society devoid of corruption and vices.
The Rountable Dialogue is an initiative of the Movement for Islamic culture and awareness, MICA as part of activities at the ongoing Katiba and 30 years anniversary of the society.
