ITIRE-IKATE LCDA CHAIRMAN HOSTS END-OF-YEAR BAZAAR FOR STAFFERS AND RESIDENTS
The Executive Chairman of Itire-Ikate Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. (Dr.) Ahmed Olanrewaju Apatira, recently hosted an end-of-year bazaar for staffers and residents, demonstrating his commitment to staff welfare and community development.
The event, which took place at the LCDA headquarters, was a triple celebration featuring an end-of-year get-together with workers, a celebration of retirees, and the commissioning of the newly built Igbeyilola market with a commercial bus car park.
Highlights of the event included:
– Distribution of ₦20,000 cash gifts to indigent residents as part of the “Owo Odun Initiative”
– Presentation of cash gifts and certificates to retirees and deserving staff members
– Presentation of utility vehicles to various groups, including:
– Community Development Committee (CDC)
– Market Association
– Pay Office
– Council Manager
– Other deserving groups
The Council Manager, Mrs. Yetunde Ajose, expressed her appreciation for the Chairman’s welfare packages, including monthly palliatives, financial assistance, and training.
The event also featured award presentations, including Best Staff awards and a Meritorious award to the Executive Chairman for his commitment to staff welfare.

Meritorious award was presented by Hon. Mayegun Moshood Olanrewaju ( Lagos State APC party deputy chairman) to the Executive Chairman for his unparallel commitment to staff welfare, the Leader of the house Hon. Idris Ahmed was presented award of honour for his support to the Executive Chairman.
The Chairman promised to do more for the workforce, citing the phrase “to whom much is given, much is expected.”
Notable attendees included APC Deputy State Vice Chairman,Representative of the Woman Leader of APC, the Lagos State NULGE president, Com. Ogunfowora Sunday, APC party Chairman Alh Kushimo Ayinde, and CDC Chairman Engr. Adelani.
The event was serenaded by a live Juju band and Rasak Amao Olatunji, son of legendary Sakara musician Yusuf Olatunji.
