WAZOBIA CDA in Coker-Aguda LCDA Urges Residents to Comply with LASRRA Registration, Distributes Palliatives to Members
The Chairman of the WAZOBIA Community Development Association in Coker-Aguda LCDA, Pastor Biosah Ajibola Andrew, has urged residents of the area and the state at large to comply with the government directive on LASRRA Registration.
He stated that the registration is essential for the government to provide basic amenities to residents in various areas based on their needs and population.
Pastor Biosah Ajibola Andrew made these remarks during the monthly meeting of WAZOBIA CDA, where members received millet and corn allocated by the federal government.
Last month, rice, beans, and garri received from the Lagos State Government as part of palliatives for residents were also distributed to members.
The CDA Chairman explained that the palliatives were distributed mainly to members of the association without bias, and to other residents on a first-come, first-served basis.
He emphasized the need for Lagos residents to clear their minds of any doubts regarding the distribution of palliatives and financial support from both the federal and state governments, adding that just because it has reached all citizens does not mean it is a propaganda effort.
The community leader also urged residents of Coker-Aguda LCDA to prioritize the monthly gatherings where vital issues are discussed and for networking opportunities.
The beneficiaries, who thanked the government for the gesture, called for concerted efforts towards reducing the prices of food items and other essential commodities.
