Hon. Olusegun Olulade Commends Nigerian Chess Prodigy’s Global Feat, Urges Support for Tinubu
A former two-term member of the Lagos State House of Assembly and currently the Executive Director of Customer Centricity and Marketing at Galaxy Backbone Limited, Hon. This comes in light of the remarkable achievements of Nigerian chess player Tunde Onakoya, who garnered global attention for breaking the world record for the longest chess marathon and raising $1 million for educating underprivileged children in Africa.
In celebrating Onakoya’s feat, Eleniyan as he’s fondly called by admirers, took to Facebook earlier today to commend his remarkable achievements, noting that Onakoya’s determination and skill have not only brought honor to himself but have also elevated the reputation of Nigerian chess players internationally.
Highlighting Onakoya’s initiative to raise funds for educating underprivileged children as truly commendable, Hon. Olulade stated, “By channeling his passion and talent towards such a noble cause, he exemplifies the spirit of compassion and altruism that defines the Nigerian people.”
Hon. Olulade emphasized that Onakoya, along with his friend Shawn Martinez, has made an indelible mark on the Guinness World Record books, serving as an inspiration to many.
