EDUCATION COMMISSIONER ATTENDS Y2023 FESTIVAL OF CHRISTMAS CAROL
The Lagos State Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education,Hon. Jamiu Tolani Alli-Balogun,as a special guest of honor, attended Y2023 Festival of Christmas Carol organized by Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education with the Theme: “THE BIRTH OF OUR SAVIOUR” held at Chapel Christ The Light, Alausa Ikeja Lagos State on Tuesday,12th December,2023.
The event was characterized with numerous spiritual inspirational Songs,nine Bible Lessons, words of exhortations, praises and Carol performances and renditions by all the Education Districts’ choirs; CMS Grammar School choir;LASTVEB mass choir et al
At interlude the Lagos State Schools Theatrical Troupe staged NATIVITY play to celebrate the conception and birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Great lessons were learned through the performance as it related to the spiritual, inspirational and moral import to guide and direct our life bearings.
In attendance were Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Hon Jamiu Alli Balogun; Chairman, TESCOM, MRS Victoria Peregrino; TG/ PS Education District II,Mrs Amudat Adenike Adekanye; TG/ PS Education District I,Mr Bashir Adebowale Adeoye among others.
