Igbobi Sabe King, Owolabi Adeyemi, reassures Nigerians of the commitments and capacity of President Tinubu to deliver on Renewed Hope Agenda
Nigerians have been reassured of the commitments and capacity of President Bola Tinubu to deliver on his Renewed Hope Agenda for the good of all.
Oba of Igbobi Sabe, Oba Owolabi Adeshina Adeyemi, gave this assurance at the second Elder’s Forum held in commemoration of the Yuletide at Bank Olemoh Community in the Surulere area of the state.
He said that Nigerians should entertain no fear about the capacity of Mr. President, adding that he has assembled a cabinet with a mandate to carry out their functions diligently.
Oba Owolabi Adeyemi said Nigerians must be patient with the President, assuring that with the coming on board of Port Harcourt Refinery, the problem with the high cost of fuel in Nigeria will become a thing of the past.
A member of the Lagos State House of Assembly in Surulere, Hon Desmond Elliot, said the area remains the cynosure of all eyes in terms of Sports and Entertainment in the state.
He assured that the signing of the state 2024 Budget by Governor Sanwo-Olu in January will serve as a catalyst for infrastructural development.
On his part, the organizer of the program, Alhaji Olayiwola Niniola, believes that the President has demonstrated that he can effect positive change in the country with his track record in Lagos.
He said that the current economic challenges are not peculiar to Nigeria alone, adding that other countries including the UK and US are facing their own crises too.
Alhaji Niniola, however, said that it was unfortunate that some Nigerians spread negative reports to tarnish the image of the country.
The Social Secretary of Bank Olemoh, Olawale Alapafuja Community, Abiodun Akinjagunla, said the event was to reunite members of the community and Surulere at large.
She said the forum was also to appreciate God for sparing their lives throughout the year in good health.
Another member of the committee, Towolawi Damilola, said she was happy with the large turnout despite the economic hardship in the country.
Abideen Yusuf Olatunji Sakara Band, the son of late Yusuf Olatunji Babalegba, treated guests with good music at the event.
