Pastor Kumuyi says Palliatives must reach vulnerable Nigerians, kicks against same sex marriage
The General Superintendent, Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Kumuyi want the federal government to demonstrate sincerity of purpose in the distribution of Palliatives saying it must get to vulnerable Nigerians.
He equally kicked against those advocating same sex marriage saying it is ungodly and not biblical.
Kumuyi stated these at the Deeper Life International Conference Centre, Mowe, Ogun State, during the opening ceremony of the December edition of Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) with the theme: “Emmanuel,” .
The event is expected to kick off today, December 21, 2023 to December 26, 2023 while the Youth Impact fixed for Tuesday, December 26.
The clergyman said there was the need for government to reach out to those in need of support due to the rising cost of foods as a result of fuel subsidy removal.
He also urged Nigerians to remain steadfas in the face of the economic and other associated challenges noting it was sad that many have fallen victims but assuring that the sufferings will be soon be over.
According to him and I quote” This is time for the church leaders to help their needy members and not just focus on evangelism and other programmes of the church. The gospel of same sex marriage is unacceptable. I call on the youths in the country to attend the impact programme as it would revolutionalise their lives, give them direction and new beginnings”.
