Eid-el-Fitr 2026: Oluremi Tinubu Urges Unity, Compassion Among Nigerians
The First Lady of Nigeria, Oluremi Tinubu, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across the country on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan 1447 AH.
In a goodwill message, the First Lady described Ramadan as a sacred period devoted to prayers, sacrifice, compassion, and self-discipline, expressing hope that the spiritual exercise would yield lasting positive impact on individuals and the nation at large.
She prayed that Almighty Allah accepts the fasts, supplications, and acts of charity offered during the holy month, while urging Muslims to sustain the virtues cultivated throughout Ramadan.
Oluremi Tinubu also called on Nigerians to remain committed to promoting peace, unity, and mutual respect, regardless of religious and ethnic differences.
The First Lady further encouraged citizens to remember the less privileged during the festive period by extending acts of kindness and support to those in need.
She expressed optimism that the blessings of Ramadan would renew hope among Nigerians, strengthen national unity, and reinforce the collective resolve to build a more peaceful and prosperous country.
She concluded her message by wishing Muslim faithful a joyous Eid celebration, saying, “Eid Mubarak.”
