AGBADO OKE -ODO LCDA SWEARS IN BUHARI SULAIMON AS S.L.G., JIMOH JELILI AS CHAIRMAN, REVENUE COMMITTEE

The Executive Chairman of Agbado Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area,Lagos, Southwest, Nigeria, Mayor Abiodun Jimoh Isola,on Friday,13th March,2026 officially inaugurated Prince Buhari Sulaimon as the new Secretary to the local government (SLG) and Mr Jimoh Jelili as Chairman, Revenue Committee of the council.

At the inauguration which took place at the council secretariat, the council chairman while congratulating the two appointees, reminded them that their appointment is a call to render selfless service to the people of Agbado Oke-Odo, and charged them to bring their years of experience in grassroot administration to bear during the discharge of their official assignments.

The swearing in of the two appointees was conducted by the council’s Head Of Legal Unit, Barrister Layode Abidemi in the presence of the council chairman,vice chairman,Hon. Shobayo Kehinde, Leader of the council’s Legislative Arm,Hon. Wasiu Aduragbemi, other elected councillors,Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA,Hon. Yinusa Mukaila, other APC leaders, the Council Manager, Management Staff and families and friends of the two appointees.
During the swearing in exercise, Prince Sulaimon and Mr Jelili took the oaths of office, allegiance and secrecy, after which they signed the documents to the delight of dignitaries at the event.

Speaking after the swearing in exercise, the Secretary to Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Prince Sulaimon on behalf of himself and Mr Jelili, expressed appreciation to God, the council chairman,APC leadership at the State and Local Government levels for the opportunity given them to serve the people of the council, and promised that they will work assiduously to justify the confidence and trust reposed in them and contribute their quota to the development and growth of Agbado Oke-Odo.

Other dignitaries at the event were the Chief Of Staff,Mr.Rasheed Rabiu, his deputy,Mr.Ademola Oriade, Chairman, Community Development Committee (CDC), Comrade Ernest Kasumu and other stakeholders.
