Noella Foundation Feeds 3,000 Fasting Muslims Across Lagos in Sixth-Year Ramadan Outreach
Residents across the Lagos metropolis have commended Noella Foundation for its continued humanitarian support through the ongoing distribution of food items to fasting Muslims during the Ramadan period.
At least 3,000 fasting Muslims are benefiting from the free distribution, which is taking place simultaneously in 12 centres across the metropolis in conjunction with the FoodClique Support Initiative.

There are indications that the free feeding programme, now in its sixth year, will be extended to other states of the federation before the end of the Ramadan fast.
The initiative, which commenced as an emergency response to rising food insecurity during the COVID-19 pandemic, has since transformed into a sustained seasonal outreach programme rooted in dignity, compassion, and continued support for families and individuals observing the holy month of Ramadan.

While speaking on this year’s exercise, the Co-Founder of the Noella Foundation, Layal Tinubu, described the initiative as “a reflection of shared responsibility and the power of sustained partnership.”
According to her, since its launch, the Ramadan feeding initiative has impacted millions of beneficiaries, reinforcing the Foundation’s commitment to addressing hunger through practical, scalable, and sustainable interventions.

Through its Hunger Eradication pillar, the Noella Foundation remains dedicated to advancing sustainable social development by supporting underserved communities and fostering collaborative solutions.
On his part, the Chief Operating Officer of the FoodClique Support Initiative, Faruk Adetola, expressed gratitude to the Noella Foundation for its continued financial support and year-round commitment to providing one of life’s basic needs—food—for the people.

He also applauded the Foundation for the passion and magnanimity it has demonstrated in its advocacy to ensure that no Nigerian family goes to bed hungry.
The FoodClique Support Initiative, a registered non-governmental organisation dedicated to ending hunger in the country, plays a vital role in coordinating the daily distribution of food items.
