SECURITY: NASFAT CONDEMNS INSURGENCY, SYMPATHIZES WITH VICTIMS OF INSURGENCY ATTACKS
The pace-setting global Islamic society, Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT), has strongly condemned the persistent wave of insurgency and the recent attacks affecting communities across Nigeria. The organization expressed deep concern over the growing insecurity and reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to promoting peace, justice, and the protection of innocent lives.
President of NASFAT, Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, expressed firm confidence in the capacity of the Nigerian Military to decisively confront insurgent groups and restore calm in affected regions. He urged the Armed Forces to reassess and strengthen their operational strategies to ensure more effective and proactive responses to rising threats. Alhaji AbdulRauf also appealed to civilians to collaborate with security agencies by providing credible and timely information that will support intelligence gathering and enhance national safety.
In his remarks, the Chief Missioner of NASFAT, Imam Maroofdeen AbdulAzeez Onike, offered heartfelt prayers for all victims of insurgency attacks and their families. He admonished Nigerians to remain steadfast in faith, uphold unity, and embrace a spirit of compassion, vigilance, and responsibility. Imam Onike reiterated the importance of prayer and collective commitment to restoring peace across the nation.
Additionally, NASFAT has directed all its locations across the globe to offer special prayers during Asalatu tomorrow (Sunday) for the victims of recent attacks—particularly those in Kebbi, Kwara, Niger, and other affected locations across Nigeria. The society encouraged its global members to intensify supplications for the safe return of abducted persons, the strength of distressed families, and the restoration of lasting peace.
NASFAT extended sincere sympathy to all individuals and families impacted by the recent incidents and commiserated with government authorities working to address the nation’s security challenges. The organization called for strengthened, intelligence-driven operations, deeper community collaboration, and sustained efforts toward long-term stability.
Reaffirming its dedication to national harmony, NASFAT urged all Nigerians to unite, remain vigilant, and support initiatives aimed at achieving enduring peace and security across the country.
