Okeowo Announces ₦30 Million Oke-Edu Bursary Award for 300 Tertiary Students


The Executive Chairman of Ifelodun Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Mayor Olufemi Akanbi Okeowo, PhD, has announced the 3rd Edition of the Oke-Edu Bursary Scheme, with ₦30 million earmarked to support 300 tertiary students from Ifelodun.

The initiative, which reflects the administration’s continued commitment to education and youth development, is designed to provide financial assistance to eligible students pursuing tertiary education.

The Oke-Edu Bursary comes with an online registration exercise, and interested and qualified tertiary students from Ifelodun are encouraged to complete the application process through the designated online portal.

Registration opens: 9:00 p.m. tonight, Monday, August 24, 2026

Registration closes: Wednesday, August 26, 2026

Number of beneficiaries: 300 tertiary students

Total bursary commitment: ₦30 million
