MAYOR EMILAGBA LIGHTS UP OYINGBO ULTRAMODERN MARKET
The Executive Chairman of Lagos Mainland Local Government, Mayor (Dr.) Jubril Kolawole Emilagba has flagged off the solar streetlight project at the Oyingbo Ultramodern Market, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to improving security, visibility and the overall trading environment across Lagos Mainland.
The project is another practical demonstration of the Mayor’s determination to provide sustainable infrastructure that directly impacts the lives and businesses of residents.
In attendance were the chairperson, Alhaja Monsurat Adenike Emilagba and Alhaja Sherifat Aina Emilagba; Vice Chairman, Hon. Wale Momoh; Council Leader, Hon. Azeez Oloto; SLG, Hon Rafiu Salam; Council Manager; Councillors; Chief of staff, Hon Rahim Babatunde; all Supervisors; Hon. Kazeem Omolaja, APC Candidate for Lagos Mainland Federal Constituency; APC Lagos Mainland Chairman, Hon. John Fagba, and all members of his Executive Committee; CDC Chairman, Mr. Salako, alongside CDA members; APC Ward Chairmen; the Iya Oja of Oyingbo Market; President, Oyingbo Foodstuffs Market Traders Association; and market men and women.
With this intervention, Mayor Emilagba continues to prioritise projects that respond directly to the needs of the people, ensuring that Oyingbo Market remains a safer, more accessible and more vibrant commercial hub for traders and residents.
