Photo News: BABASALA Stage Play Draws Crowds, Celebrates Legacy of Late Comedy Icon at Glover Memorial Hall

The Glover Memorial Hall on Lagos Island played host yesterday to Nigerians from all walks of life who gathered to watch the stage play BABASALA.

The stage play was filled with fun, excitement, and nostalgia, as people of different ages and tribes came together to honour the late legend of Nigeria’s comedy and theatre industry, Moses Olaiya, popularly known as Baba Sala.

Some members of his family and Nollywood practitioners graced the occasion, describing Baba Sala as a trailblazer who brought fame and glamour to comedy and drama in the country for decades.

Some of his popular films include Orun Mooru, Mosebolatan, Agba Man, and Aare Agbaye.

The stage play was put together by JT Play Hub in partnership with Ariya Tickets and Zevicar Productions.
