NASFAT PRESIDENT APPLAUDS BIENNIAL GENERAL CONFERENCE OUTING
The President of the Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT), Alhaji (Dr) Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, has applauded the outstanding success of the Society’s 8th Biennial General Conference (BGC) held at the NAF Conference Centre, Kado, Abuja, describing the outing as a milestone that reinforced unity, spiritual depth, and institutional advancement across the organization.
In his post-Conference remarks, the NASFAT President expressed heartfelt appreciation to all stakeholders, CPC/LOC members, delegates, scholars, and participants whose dedication, discipline, and sacrifices ensured the smooth planning and flawless execution of the Conference, noting that their collective commitment reflects NASFAT’s growing maturity and credibility.
Dr. AbdulRauf commended the Chief Missioner of NASFAT, Imam Maroofdeen AbdulAzeez Onike, for providing profound spiritual leadership throughout the Conference. He noted that the quality of lectures, prayers, and reflections significantly strengthened the Society’s da’wah mission, moral focus, and sense of brotherhood among members.
The NASFAT President highlighted that under the current administration, the Society has attained a five-star institutional status built on strategic clarity, transparent governance, disciplined execution, and values-driven leadership. He added that resolutions reached at the Conference further strengthen NASFAT’s resolve to progress toward a seven-star standard of excellence.
He also acknowledged the immense contributions of the BOT Chairman, Alhaji AbdulLateef Olawale Olasupo; the Chairman of the National Council of Elders, Alhaji Yunus Olalekan Saliu, represented by the Secretary, Alhaja Nofisat Arogundade; and the National Women Affairs Secretary, Alhaja Ganiyat Omowunmi Babalola, for their steadfast support.
Dr. AbdulRauf equally appreciated the Guest Lecturer, Dr. Nurudeen Lemu, whose thought-provoking presentation challenged delegates to deepen ethical leadership, social responsibility, and national cohesion, while translating faith into practical societal impact.
In a separate tribute, the NASFAT President expressed sincere appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his continued commitment to national unity and peaceful coexistence. He particularly acknowledged the President’s presence at the Conference through his representative, Prince Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, whose message reinforced harmony among Nigerians.
The NASFAT President concluded by calling for the widespread dissemination of the Conference outcomes across online platforms, urging members to sustain the momentum generated while praying for Allah’s continued guidance, wisdom, and strength for the leadership and entire NASFAT family.
