First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Mourns Media Icon, Dr. Doyin Abiola

The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of veteran journalist and media trailblazer, Dr. Doyin Abiola.

In a heartfelt condolence message, the First Lady commiserated with the late media icon’s children, grandchildren, extended family, colleagues in the media industry, and other associates.

Senator Tinubu described Dr. Abiola as a distinguished journalist whose legacy of excellence and professionalism significantly shaped the media landscape in Nigeria. She noted that Abiola’s pioneering role in journalism paved the way for many Nigerian women in media and public service.
