First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Calls for Prayer, Compassion, and Unity During Lenten Season
As the Christian faithful in Nigeria and across the world begin the observance of Lent, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, has called for a period of deep reflection, prayer, and acts of kindness.
In a message released to mark the Lenten season, Senator Tinubu emphasized the significance of this sacred period as a time for repentance, supplication, and good deeds, urging Nigerians to follow Christ’s example of love and selflessness.
“I urge us to use this period to draw closer to Christ, show kindness to others, and deepen our commitment to serving others,” she said.
The First Lady also stressed the importance of national unity and spiritual intercession, encouraging Nigerians to pray for peace and prosperity in the country.
