He emphasized the need for continuous prayers and support for the President to effectively steer the country towards progress.
Folawiyo made these remarks during the sixteenth edition of the Subsidy Removal and Food Palliative distribution to residents of the area, organized by the Local Government.
He clarified that President Tinubu’s policies are not meant to inflict suffering on the people, and highlighted the President’s commitment to improving nationwide road infrastructure, a key campaign promise.
While acknowledging the current challenges in the country, Folawiyo urged Nigerians to maintain optimism, assuring them that better days are ahead.
He noted that at least four thousand residents benefited from the sixteenth edition of the food distribution, where items were sold at subsidized rates to alleviate the impact of fuel subsidy removal.
Folawiyo also expressed gratitude for the support received from Governor Sanwo-Olu in easing the hardship faced by residents.
Beneficiaries praised the Council Chairman, stating that the programme significantly assisted in providing essential food items at affordable prices.
Among the subsidized items available were rice, beans, garri, yam flour, Indomie noodles, palm oil, and live chickens.”
