EDUCATION – “We will ensure you get seamless access to higher education”, Oriade Council Chairman assures 500 beneficiaries of 2024 Free JAMB Forms
The Executive Chairman of Oriade Local Council Development Area,Hon Ramotalai Akinlola-Hassan has assured youths in the council area that her administration is committed to ensuring they have seamless access to higher education.
Hon Akinlola-Hassan gave the assurance on Monday,22nd, January,2024, while on an inspection visit to the council’s ICT/Library Centre,at Satellite town, venue of registration of the 500 youths who benefited from the council’s 2024 free UTME/JAMB Forms.
Addressing the youths , the council boss stated that her administration recognizes the importance of education in shaping their future, and for this reason, she is committed to supporting all determined youths in their pursuit of academic excellence.
She urged the beneficiaries of the Year 2024 Free JAMB Forms within Oriade LCDA, to take advantage of the free registration exercise, organized by the council ,to register promptly for the examination, study very well and pray fervently, to enable them come out in flying colours.
According to Hon Akinlola-Hassan, the registration centre, which is equiped with all necessary computer facilities, has been opened since Thursday,18th January,and will close on Monday,26th February,2024, from 10am to 4pm every working day, Saturdays inclusive.The registration centre is located along Assembly road, Satellite town, after the council’s primary health center and before Grocery Bazaar plaza.
It will be recalled that Hon Ramotalai Akinlola-Hassan has been given out free UTME/JAMB Forms to youths in Oriade LCDA, since 2011, during her days at the Lagos State House Of Assembly,as member,representing Amuwo-Odofin Constituency 2.
According to her, over 7000 youths, residents and indigenes in Oriade LCDA have benefited from her annual free GCE and JAMB Forms, since 2011 till date.
Just last year,2023,300 youths across the seven wards in the council area, received free UTME/JAMB Forms from her administration.
Hon Akinlola-Hassan, while wishing all the candidates success in the forthcoming JAMB/UTME Examination, concluded that her passion and belief in developing a well educated and empowered community formed the basis for giving out free GCE and JAMB Forms annually to youths in Oriade LCDA,since 2011.
