SA on DAWN Commission, Lanre Odesanya slams 100m damage on Oriwu Sun for defamation of character
The Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on DAWN Commission, Hon Lanre Odesanya has slammed a hundred million naira damage on the Publisher of Oriwu Sun over a publication he considered as damaging to his integrity and reputation.
He also demanded for a retreaction of the story published in the Ikorodu-based community newsppaer in two national dailies and several online platforms.
Oriwu Sun in its monthly publication of October, 2023 had claimed that Hon Odesanya was relieved of his position as Lagos APC Secretary because of insubordination, arrogance and being pompous.
In a petition to the Publisher of Oriwu Sun, Chief Monzor Olowosago by his lawyer from Lords & Temple, Odesanya described the write up as a calculated attempt to damage his personality and political career.
He explained that he voluntarily resigned his position in the executive of Lagos APC on the 25th of August which was acknowledged by the office of the Chairman after receiving an appointment Letter from the Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on August 14th.
