Imam Abdulganiu urges Muslim faithful to continue with good deeds after Ramadan as Moshood Salvador holds 27th Ramadan Lecture
Muslim faithful have been urged to remain steadfast and continue with the good deeds exhibited during the month of Ramadan fast even after the Holy month.
Imam Abdulganiyu Adisa of the Ansarudeen Fadeyi Branch gave this advise at the 27th Ramadan Lecture organised by Hon Moshood Adegoke Salvador at Salvador Towers in Surulere.
He said the best among the fasting Muslims are those who continue to fear Allah and stay away from all vices as was the case during outgoing Ramadan Fast.
According to him, the acts of extending hands of fellowship to the less privileged which is very prominent during the Ramadan fast is one of the injunctions of Allah in ensuring that wealth are redistributed among the people.
On his part, the Convener of the Ramadan Lecture, Hon Moshood Adegoke Salvador said he was inspired by the need to show kindness to people around him.
He also noted that Ramadan Fast which is one of the five pillars of Islam teaches everyone to move closer to Allah.
