More Support For Tinubu As Muslim Community In Lagos Back Him For Presidency
The Council of Imams and Leaders of the Muslim Community in Lagos have joined the league of endorsement for the Presidential bid of BOLA TINUBU and reelection of Governor BABAJIDE SANWOOLU.
They said TINUBU deserves support across the country irrespective of religion or Ethnic sentiments.
While speaking at the strategic meeting by the Lagos APC Directorate of Religious Affairs in Ikeja, the Chairman Lagos Muslim Community, Prof TAJUDEEN GBADAMOSI however enjoined political leaders making promises to the citizens to fulfil them.
He said there are high expectations from TINUBU to develope the country into a first leading nation.
On his part, the National Missioner, Ansarudeen Society of Nigeria, Imam ABDULRAHMAN AHMAD urged the electorates to vote wisely at the poll.
Also speaking, the Lagos Chairman of APC, CORNELIUS OJELABI said it was fervent prayers from the religious leaders that had sustained peaceful coexistence in the state.
He assured that the demands of the Muslim leaders would be looked into accordingly.
The Head of Lagos Campaign Council for Directorate of Religious Affairs, Hon OYINLOMO DANMOLE is optimistic of massive votes for TINUBU and Governor SANWOOLU at Feb 25th and March 11th elections.
Our correspondent reports that the Muslim Clerics demanded for inclusiveness in government, approval of field for Eid prayers as well as recognition for the use of Hijab in schools.
