A member of the Ruling House in the Magbon Alade community area of Ibeju Lekki Local Government, Chief Alade Ogunlana, has stated that he will collaborate closely with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to expedite socio-economic development in the area.
He gave this assurance while speaking with journalists after the adjournment of the Obaship case of Magbon Alade by Justice Owolabi Dabiri, Retired, at the Tribunal of Inquiry into Chieftaincy Matters in Lagos State.

According to him, his emergence as the leading contender for the Obaship stool was overwhelmingly endorsed by the people of the Magbon Alade community due to his antecedents.
The Magbon Alade community, which has existed for time immemorial, has a population close to one million, with prominent towns including Magbon Oga, Oketun, Ipatun, and Museyo.
The community also hosts several government infrastructure and institutions, including the Water Corporation, Post Office, and Banks.
