UMA Inducts Fresh UNILAG Muslim Graduates, Urges Exemplary Conduct

The University of Lagos Muslim Alumni (UMA) has inducted fresh Muslim graduates of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Class of 2026, with a charge to uphold exemplary conduct and serve as good ambassadors of Islam and the association.

The induction ceremony, held on Saturday, September 6, 2026, at the UNILAG Mosque Islamic Centre, Akoka, Lagos, was led by the President of UMA, Dr. Mumini Alao.

Alao, while addressing the new inductees, urged them to demonstrate good character in their activities and remain worthy ambassadors of Islam and UMA wherever they find themselves.

He encouraged the graduates to uphold the values and principles of the association while contributing positively to society.

Some of the newly inducted members expressed profound gratitude for the warm reception and honour accorded them, pledging to support and promote the mission and vision of UMA.
