Baring any last minute change, the list of Nigerians that will work with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Ministers will get to the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio any moment from now.
The newsnow reliably gathered that the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio is expected to present the much awaited list to his colleagues at plenary in the next forty eight hours.
The Department of State Services we learnt had concluded the rigorous screening of the nominees of any criminal records paving the way for the oversight function of the National Assembly to ask them questions on relevant areas before approval.
This is happening barely ten days to the expiration of sixty days President Tinubu have under the law to do the needful.
Former President, Muhammadu Buhari signed the Bill that prescribed sixty days for his successor to send the Ministerial nominees to the National Assembly for approval in the twilight of his administration.
Nigerians are hoping that the screening of the nominees at the Senate will be a departure from the usual ‘Take A Bow’ owing to the current economic realities that requires serious minded to solve.
Coming from a rich background as an Accountant, President Tinubu deployed the rare gifted knowledge to discover intelligent, brilliant personalities that made up his cabinet in 1999 after he was elected as the Lagos State Governor.
