Faces at the maiden edition of the Inter-House Sports Competition organised by At-Tanzeel Schools, held at the Yaba College of Technology Sports Complex, Yaba, Lagos.

The Green House emerged as the overall winner of the competition, clinching 23 gold, 13 silver, and 16 bronze medals. The Yellow House finished second with 23 gold, eight silver, and 14 bronze medals.

The Purple and Orange Houses placed third and fourth respectively, with the Purple House recording 11 gold, 25 silver, and 16 bronze medals, while the Orange House secured nine gold, 19 silver, and 18 bronze medals.

Speaking at the event, the Chairman, Board of Directors, At-Tanzeel Schools, Saheed Bashir, said the historic occasion marked a significant milestone in the school’s journey, noting that the institution is deliberate about nurturing learners who are confident, resilient, responsible, and globally aligned with international best practices.

In his remarks, the Head of School, At-Tanzeel Schools, Hakeem Bolaji Isioye, described the competition as another avenue for discovering and grooming sporting talents, adding that Islam encourages physical fitness as a pathway to sound mental wellbeing.

Also speaking, the Sports Coordinator, Ademola Quam Elebute, observed that the event went beyond showcasing athletic ability, describing it as a celebration of discipline, teamwork, and resilience.

Students competed in various sporting events, including track and field events such as the 100m, 200m, and 400m races, the 4x400m relay, and long jump. Indoor games featured lawn tennis, free throw, discus, and high jump.
