Photo News: “Energy, Fitness & Fellowship: Lagos NUJ Flags Off 2025 Press Week with Vibrant Health Walk”
Members of the Lagos State Chapter of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) on Saturday embarked on a Health Walk to kick off activities marking the 2025 Press Week.
The walk, led by the State Chairman, Mr. Leye Ajayi, commenced from the Under Bridge in Ikeja and terminated at the Council Secretariat, Iyalla, Alausa.
It was a lively and energetic outing, with members radiating excitement throughout the exercise.
In a statement, the NUJ Lagos State Chapter said the Health Walk was designed to promote physical fitness, strengthen bonds of friendship, and foster a more united press community.
After the walk, members participated in various games at the NUJ Secretariat to unwind and relax after completing the several-kilometer trek.
This year’s Lagos NUJ Press Week, featuring a rich lineup of activities, is scheduled to hold from Monday, November 24th to Sunday, November 30th.
