First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Mourns Victims of Zamfara Islamic School Fire

The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic fire incident that claimed 17 lives at an Islamic school in Zamfara State.

In a statement, she extended her condolences to the Governor of Zamfara State, Dr. Dauda Lawal, and the people of the state, describing the loss as heartbreaking.

“I pray Allah comforts and gives the families and loved ones of the departed the fortitude to bear this painful loss,” she said.

The First Lady also emphasized the importance of precautionary safety measures in public facilities to prevent such tragedies in the future.

“This once again brings to mind the need for precautionary safety measures in all our public facilities. I pray that such will not reoccur, not only in Zamfara State but all over Nigeria,” she added.

Senator Tinubu prayed for the souls of the departed, asking Allah to grant them Aljanah Firdaus.
