Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Followers Lacks Ability To Speak For Our Party Since Their Expulsion In 2023 – NNPP Founder
By Raheem Ibrahim
The founder of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Dr. Boniface Aniebonam has declared that Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Buba Galadima and Ladipo Johnson cannot speak for the party since they have been expelled.
In a press conference where he handed over the party registration certificate to the newly constituted Board Of Trustees (BOT), DR Aniebonam assured members and well wishers that the party is now safely in the hands, saying “characters like Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Buba Galadima and Ladipo Johnson cannot speak for the party”.
Reacting to the recent Abia State High Court ruling, Dr. Aniebonam who doubles as the Founder of National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) appealed to members of the party across board to remain calm.
Dr. Aniebonam also revealed that a whooping sum of N800million was spent to tackle the between the party and Kwankwaso’ group litigation tussles, saying “they have been expelled from the party even before the judgement”.
According to him, “What this simply means is that characters like Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Buba Galadima, Ladipo Johnson long expelled from the party before the judgement cannot speak for NNPP because they have long exited after the election as we have repeatedly explained to the media people in the past”.
He disclosed, “We are curious about a week ago when the news of Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso and Buba Galadima withdrawing their case in Kano State High court against Dr. Aneibonam and other legitimate members of the party broke out”.
He stressed, “This was a case targeted at rewarding me with embarrassment despite the level of benevolence extended to them in my country home in Umuawulu in 2022 when they came to ask for my assistance to use the party platform for the 2023 general election, a request I granted without any financial consideration or commitment instead I donated money for operational take off”.
Dr Aniebonam reasoned, “It is very simple to understand the level of ill advice Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has been getting from these questionable characters around him who lack competence in their chosen endeavors. They choose to stay around the man to enable them service their stomachs instead of going to practice their trade if they have any”.
He noted further that:“The legal adviser of Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and Buba Galadima is one Barr. Robert Hon, the junior brother of Prof Samuel Angwe who was frustrated out of the party and together with Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi are now members of APC”.
“Barr Ladipo Johnson, the Kwankwassiya Spokesperson is not only alleged to be an agent of APC from Lagos State planted around Senator Kwankwaso and Buba Galadima to scoop vital information and return to them has been angry that he has been spending his personal money” Dr. Aniebonam alleged.
Berating the ill advice Kwankwaso has been getting from people of questionable characters around him, Party Founder said “a Federal High Court and a State High Court are both courts of coordinate jurisdiction and no matter how fraudulent a judgement might be (as presently alleged by Barr. Ladipo Johnson), one needed to vacate such order/judgement directly or through an appellate court.
He questioned, “Does it mean that Barr Ladipo Johnson representing Senator Kwankwaso and Buba Galadima cannot differentiate between a declaratory judgement and an executionary order or judgement of court? As a lawyer does it mean that Barr. Ladipo Johnson do not know that except this compelling order is vacated in Appeal Court and/or Supreme Court that senator Kwankwaso, Buba Galadima and the entire officers of the party have been dissolved and sacked? Barr. Ladipo Johnson should be told that Stay of Execution Order does not apply on declaratory judgements of a High Court. Barr. Ladipo Johnson need to be told that a declaratory judgement may not need service noting that the subject matter is INEC’s inability to exercise it’s authority in administration and management of statutory functions as it relates to regulation of political parties and their activities”.
“Indeed the compelling order is for INEC to exercise it’s authority of regulation and control of political parties in Nigeria under the law.
Therefore, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Buba Galadima and the entire defunct and puppet NWC members of the Kwankwassiya group masquerading as NNPP are inconsequential under the present circumstances and the law.
“Barr. Ladipo should be told that INEC was in court to defend itself before the ruling and or judgement was pronounced.
Aniebonam affirmed, “It is therefore right to note that under the circumstances the actions of Barr. Ladipo Johnson representing Senator Kwankwaso and Buba Galadima amounts to contempt of court. We will therefore approach the court to draw their attention to this as soon as possible”.
He suggested, “Our sincere advice is that instead of all these noise in the air space, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and Buba Galadima should approach the Appeal Court and seek for intervention”.
While imploring the party elected members to contribute their quota in taking NNPP to the next level, he added, “the Board shall be meeting on the 8th of November, 2024 to take specific decisions in accordance with the compelling order/judgement of the court.
